it's been raining...

And, I've been thinking...

I don't think, you can know a thing, you know, truly know it, until it's yours to live and feel your way through.  I've been feeling an awful lot lately.  I guess, even if that feeling can be a bit much sometimes, well... I suppose, I'm still somehow grateful for the knowing that follows.  

I do think, when I look up at that cloudy Hawaiian sky, and see it, exhausted from "holding it all together", let itself fall in wet messy pieces back to the earth, well... I think then, that maybe, just maybe, I'm not so very much alone.

And then there's this perfect little thought inspiring diddy.

I'm looking forward to a sort of feeling my way through the weekend ahead.  Sometimes just the very nature of being a grown up mommy means I don't often have to feel so very much, there's just so much busyness involved with the day to day business of being a big someone to little someones.

Most days I'm grateful for the distraction; for the immediacy of two boys and the big needs of their little lives. Most.

Well, you could just quit a job you don't actually have.

If you're on O`ahu come find me at the downtown Makahiki, Saturday.  We're closing down a whole street and replacing the cars with aloha filled people.
