it's pronounced, "nom, nom, nom"...

"...Nom, Nom".

Well, or at least that's the way to say it if you wanna get all technical and really are trying quite hard to impress.

It's the first phrase that comes to mind as I sit in this dark cold room, the ac unit is on full blast in our bedroom today and the boys and I have decided to camp out in here to beat the heat-- it being summer and us being spoiled and all. I think it's maybe 85, M-A-Y-B-E... so, yeah it's more about the latter.  (Which, by the way it took me forever to realize is not ladder with two "d's" but latter with two "t's" which made things a whole lot less awkward when I stopped tuning people out mid conversation to let roll around in my own head questions of why in the world they would be needing right at that moment some sort of climbing device preferably with an infinite number of neck breaking rungs.  And also, now that I know there's a difference and I kind of know what the difference is, well, I've made it my own sort of mission to use the latter every non ladder requiring opportunity I get.  Unless, you can think of an opportunity where I could use both 'cause that would be pretty neato.)

So the whole point of taking ya down this rambling way with words is to tell ya that last weekend the boys and I went to Eat The Street and we were like "nom, nom, nom".  And then when we finally got our plates from, seriously guys the most amazing food trucks ever, well we rebelliously copped a squat on a patch of grass outside a parking garage on the corner of Pohukaina and South Street and watched the sunset reflect on the very tallest of buildings and listened to the noise of the DJ and Radio station and cars and just everyday people at the exact same time and we laid back and thought... ahhh... "nom, nom".

Catch ya ladders.
