wearing out the words...

Thank you.

Oh, it’s been a crazy few days.  Crazy of the good, but, still very crazy variety.  I set out to do some straightening up of this space that we share here and well one thing lead to another and before long this little site of ours was looking a whole lot like something  Picasso might throw together, a bit distorted, ya know?

Oh, you guys it was awful, not Picasso, just the rearranging of things I had done here.

And I was finding myself, like all the king’s horses and all the king’s men, surrounded by bits of broken Humpties and feeling awfully dumpty.

So, once I realized I could never put back together again what once was, well, I also realized that beneath the layers was a clean canvas.  A fresh start of sorts.  A space to hold on to the prettiest of pieces and a really good excuse to let go of much.

Here it is you guys.  A new little design for our beloved space.  I hope you’ll love it too, even if it takes a minute or two to get used to.

And also at the risk of wearing out the words...

You, being here, with me, is the very biggest, of
Very big deals.

Thank You.

live sweet,

  2. Oh Michelle, thank you so much. For your aloha. For your being here.

These past days, oh my goodness you have no idea, or maybe you know just what it feels like to tug, against your better judgement, at a little annoyingly loose thread and to then watch the whole thing unravel...

  6. Girl- you're just do talented. I was reading the mobile version and so was like- I can't see the changes, but I know they're there! Gah! Until I changed to the web view. So fresh, crisp and clean and although different than what I'd gotten used to - what was patently local sugar aka Nicole the new one is still do you!
We've actually been playing with rearranging things over at ladies holiday. It certainly does have its Picasso
    Moments- "what have I done?!??"

    1. Oh, Deirdre,
I thought of ya over the weekend and wondered if you'd hate it. I'm growing to like it. I like clean and it's, well clean. And once upon a time I worked in an art gallery-- and this sits well with that part of me.-- but geesh the pains of change. =)

And, also, I love this "What have I done?!??... Oh... made art."
