Whatcha doin'?...
Oh, you know just hangin' out...
Spreadin' smiles around the globe like it's my job or something...
Oh, you guys it is their job and they're really, really good at it! And they're coming to Hawaii. They really are, see it says so here! I'm smiling just thinking about it. Oh, gosh darn, now I'm giggling too. And our Mayor our very own little Mayor of little ol' Honolulu is so ridiculously excited he's proclaimed the twelfth of May,
Harlem Globetrotters Day.
Harlem Globetrotters Day.
He really did do it right here.
Those Harlem Globetrotters have been around for a very long time, like since back in the black and white t.v. days, and they are fresh and new and still super cool and I have to tell ya that I think I'm most excited because they've made it fun for kids, to get out and exercise. And I really do heart kids.
This year in addition to their hilariously theatrical games, they'll be playing them all over this world, they are offering skills clinics in select cities.
Here's just a little info I thought might be helpful to pass along.
............

Oh, and here's a little thing I found that just might get ya jumping through hoops with excitement.
Trot on.
live sweet,

I have to tell ya The Harlem Globetrotters and US Family Guide, a super cool resource for finding the best family activities wherever your local may be, will be sending this little family out to trot the globe at the Neil Blaisdell Center this Saturday as a "mahalo" for spreading the news.
We're all so darn excited we could just... well nothing as amazing as what the Globetrotters do when they're excited but, still... we're super excited.

Thanks for the visit!!! I'm now catching up on some of your posts. I'll add you to google + too.
ReplyDeleteChristine,
DeleteI love that you'll join us for the ride. Here's to the many adventures we'll embark on, together.
xoxo,
Nicole
I saw them once years ago. One of them came and sat next to me and harassed me during the game/show. It was great fun!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you found me so that I could find you!
Did you really? Oh, I am so jealous. I used to pretend to be them, and I think I might have, maybe even convinced myself as a little eight year old girl that I would one day grow up to be one.
DeleteYay, to us finding each other-- I can't wait to see what things we get into together.
Aloha,
N
