When there's not a cloud in the sky...
well, that's the very best time for a little trip to Waimea Bay.

well, that's the very best time for a little trip to Waimea Bay.
The very best fish tacos I've ever, ever had. Really you guys.
The coolest bumper/ board stickers ever.
A memorial to Eddie Aikau, famous big wave surfer and City and County lifeguard and just an all around epic human being.
But, most importantly...
Waimea Bay is home to the most creative lifeguards, ever.
See, aren't they just the most artsy fartsy?
Oh, geesh, isn't that just the creepiest santa coconut head thingy?
Sean absolutely loved this very retro water fountain. Fancy.
And then, also, there's the sea...
and the sun... and the sand...
And the smiles.
That's what Waimea Bay is home to.

I am in love with the palm tree and sail boat picture... gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOh, I so love that you found something to love in this little post.
DeleteAloha,
Nicole
I grew up close to the beach. Not a tropical Pacific beach! But a beach. And reading your posts makes me miss it fiercely!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! Loving your blog so far!
Love the beach, any beach Nicole. I actually went to college in Colorado for just a teensy tinsy bit and thought I'd die from being so land locked. I, of course, didn't die and, in fact I fell madly in love with the Rocky Mountains but there is something freeing and endlessly beautiful about the sea.
Deletexoxo,
Nicole
All I have to say is...FISH TACOS...yum! Think I might make some tomorrow! ;-)
ReplyDeleteYES... Please!!! =)
ReplyDeleteLisa do you think maybe I could come over, oh, say around dinner time tomorrow?=)
